Golf Tournament for MHA
This is a golf tournament for MHA which is the Multi Family Housing Association. Every year they have a Golf Tournament at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake Minnesota. Instead of participating by sponsoring a hole like I have every year, Jeremy and I sponsored a cocktail cart and distributed beer to all the people on the course. Jeremy Beier is our New Construction Project Mgr. He oversees all the rebuilds for the company. The rest of the information should be what I originally sent you.
Golf Outing Sponsored by SERVPRO of Minnetonka
SERVPRO of Minnetonka sponsored a hole a few weeks ago for Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Minnesota at the Bloomington Valley Country Club. It was a perfect sunny day to play golf. Over 150 golfers attended. Reception and dinner followed after. Everyone had a great time at this years event and is already looking forward to next year!

The Sherman Associates Annual Property Management Meeting
Our team at SERVPRO of Minnetonka attended the Sherman Associates Annual Property Management Meeting. We had a great time getting to meet the members of the Sherman Property Management and Maintenance team. Our team had two days of education and inspiration!
Minnetonka Fire Department Open House
SERVPRO of Minnetonka recently held an open house at the Fire Department in Minnetonka. The open house was geared toward teaching families about fire safety and prevention. We enjoy sharing the knowledge we have about fire and fire damage with our community.
2017 Hearts & Hammers Event
SERVPRO of Minnetonka team members, Scott Clemente, Janet Phillips, and Ryan recently volunteered their time at the Hearts and Hammers event. Hearts & Hammers is a non-profit organization that provides exterior home improvement assistance for senior and disabled homeowners so that they may continue living independently. A normal Hearts & Hammers home requires significant exterior painting, moderate carpentry, and landscaping to restore the security and overall appearance of the property. Assistance is provided at no cost to homeowners and is completed on program days held twice a year. Our team members called it a rewarding experience, and they look forward to doing it again next year!

Minnetonka Fire Department Open House
Our SERVPRO team was invited by the Minnetonka Fire Department to have a table at their open house. It is one of the largest Fire Department open houses in the state. There were free hotdogs, safety demonstrations and stations where kids could try out the fire hose. At our table we had a great time speaking to residents about the need to have fire safety plans for their homes. We also handed out water and gas shut of tags to make them more identifiable in the event of an emergency. As an added bonus, franchise owner Scott had his 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter visit the booth. As you can see, everyone liked the hotdogs. SERVPRO of Minnetonka is proud to support our local community.
Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce Event
SERVPRO of Minnetonka was proud to be a sponsor of the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce "After Hours" social event along with sponsors Farmers Insurance and Regus. Food, beer and wine were enjoyed by members and guests. The event was held at the Regus on Shady Oak Rd. in Eden Prairie. It was a great opportunity for local business leaders to get to know each other in a casual atmosphere. The Chamber mission is to be the catalyst for a vibrant business community. Attendees had the chance to win door prizes including an Amazon Echo Bluetooth speaker and a Kindle Fire. Minnesota Hospitality Conference & Expo
Our SERVPRO of Minnetonka franchise owner, Scott Clemente, is presenting at the Minnesota Hospitality Conference & Expo on September 22, 2016, at Rivercentre in St. Paul. His ‘Disaster Recovery Starts With Planning’ education session is from 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM and will go over commercial water damage and restoration. During this class, you will learn how to limit disruptions to your operations and avoid potential issues with mold. The event is free, but registration is required. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Minnetonka/Hopkins Blood Drive 2016
Here we are at the Hopkins Fire Department in partnership with The American Red Cross. We want to thank the 25 donors who came at our request to donate blood, especially our very own SERVPRO of Minnetonka Production Manager, Jesse. We raffled off two tickets to a Minnesota Wild hockey game as a prize to one of our donors for their kind and generous donation. We collected enough blood to help save 75 lives. All of us are proud to contribute to the health and safety of all the local communities that we serve.
New Hampshire added to the 'Storm Wall'
Pictured are Jordan and Tucker hanging the newest state, New Hampshire, to our 'Storm Wall'. Every time our crew members travel as part of the SERVPRO Storm team we commemorate the trip with a placard shaped like the state with the names of the crew members who travelled. Our highly experienced production team traveled to New Hampshire after a harsh winter freeze resulted in substantial water damage. Just like the customers they helped, we also appreciate their hard work.

Recently, SERVPRO of Minnetonka hosted a visit from the "Ambassadors from The Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce" at our facilities. Scott Clemente proudly displayed the inner workings of SERVPRO HQ and was happy to hear that the Ambassadors were impressed by the company and its focus on customer service. MASMS 2015 Fall Conference in St Cloud

Customer Appreciation Day ... and Burn Box Demo
SERVPRO of Minnetonka built the 2 burn boxes in the photo for the Hopkins Fire Department. They are reusable so it will save a lot of time and money when fire departments want to use them for demonstration purposes. One box is fitted with a sprinkler head and the other is not. They are both set on fire and you can see how quickly the fire spreads and how quickly the sprinkler knocks it down in the one box. We hosted Hopkins Fire Department, Minnetonka Fire Department, St. Paul Fire Department along with a number of our SERVPRO customers. We learned a lot and had a great time. Burn Boxes for Hopkins Fire Department ...
SERVPRO of Minnetonka is building two steel burn boxes in partnership with the Hopkins Fire Department. The Hopkins Fire Department and other local fire departments will utilize the burn boxes during their open houses to conduct side by side burns for demonstration and training purposes.
