Groveland Mold in the Laundry Room
The plastic drain hose on this washing machine occasionally backed up and wetted the walls in this utility room. The homeowner ignored the warning signs of water stains on the walls. This moisture, mixed with a food source, developed into a very large mold infestation within the walls. The musty odor was strong when we arrived for the mold remediation service. We unclogged the drain line to stop the source of the moisture, cut out the non-salvageable drywall panels, and started the cleanup and chemical applications. We isolated this room to contain the mold spores before we started the demolition. Our green machines restored preferred humidity levels, reducing the always present mold spores from growing into new patches.
